A campaign for a more diverse approach to education

Why doesn’t the work we’re shown reflect who we are?
Lecture after lecture, our frustration grew.
We couldn’t stay silent. So we created Ausgemännert
(roughly, “end of male domination”) to provoke and raise awareness.
With the campaign’s provocative slogans and simple but eye-catching design, we aimed to catch passerbyes off guard and make professors and students question their own biases when examining course contents. Our main goal was to open the discussion on how to improve female and gender-diverse representation within course material and examples shown in lectures. Adding to the posters, we also created a branding that is visually recognizable and spread throughout social media and the city. For this, I have created a small teaser animation and

To raise awareness, we placed our posters all around our university. People even started adding notes to our posters, so we definitely started a discussion.
